French tableware and kitchen accessories

Combine Jars ceramics, La Rochère glassware and Andrée Jardin accessories around actual uses. Compare capacities, materials and care for each reference. Vegetable, dish and pan brushes have different fibres and usage limits; stoneware and delicate coatings need appropriate cleaning instructions.

French kitchen brushes: cookware care and separate food-preparation tools

Choose a kitchen brush for the surface and task. A softer mushroom brush, dual-stiffness vegetable brush and firm pan scrubber are different tools. Keep food-preparation brushes separate from household cleaning equipment. Brushing can help prepare vegetables, but it does not replace washing them.

Identify a pan's coating and read the cookware maker's instructions before scrubbing. Andrée Jardin explicitly excludes non-stick and Teflon surfaces for its firm pan brush. Natural fibres do not guarantee a scratch-free result. A tampico dish brush supports a different washing-up action; check delicate surfaces before selecting an accessory.

For a kitchen in the United Kingdom, provide a place where wooden handles and bristles can dry fully. Rinse after use, allow air to circulate and avoid putting a damp brush straight into a closed drawer. In a professional kitchen, these objects do not replace an established cleaning procedure. Try the selected brush on the intended utensils before specifying a large quantity.
