French luxury cushion covers: materials, sizes and inserts

A carefully chosen cushion cover can introduce French craft without replacing your living-room furniture. Start with the sofa, rug and wood already in the room. Mérilin's herringbone texture and Canisses' contrasting trim create different effects. A considered combination of plain fabric, texture and one accent colour can be more personal than a large matching set.

Compare sizes in centimetres and consider seat depth. A 30 × 50 cm lumbar cover and a 50 × 50 cm square use space differently. Separate cover-only products from filled cushions: Mérilin and Canisses require an insert purchased separately, whereas Nomades includes its wool filling. A plump cushion in a photograph is not evidence that a pad is included.

For a local residence or a boutique-hotel project, confirm the selected colour and cleaning instructions before specifying a group. French manufacture describes where the product is made; it does not guarantee that every fibre was grown in France. Keep the reference, size and colour in your project schedule to make future replacement enquiries more precise.
